Bridge

Its hard to keep up with the people who come and go in your life. The past 2 months saw a blur of visitors flying in and out of bj . I really ought to keep a log book huh!

It has been a dream, a really sweet one, and one that i am still sleeping in. Alas, as the saying goes that all good things must eventually come to an end, (*cue in the ringing alarm clock), its time to wake up.

Daily, i reminded of the endless work that needs my attention, deadlines that need to be met, books that need reading. God help me please.

I just saw another of the aunt back home. Her time in bj is up, and i guess it wont be any time soon that i would be having her here. Sigh, she has no idea, but she is so affectionately known amongst my classmates as the "Tsinghua Aunty". The beijing experience certainly wouldnt be complete without you! oh well, i hope i had a small role in making your trip here memorable, beiyi :)

On places to chill out number.. (which number are we at already?) anyway, over at the varsity town aka Wu Dao Kou, there are a number of small cafes that deserves some mentioning. On my list, is one that is recommended by rf when frae and bongy were here. Bridge Cafe, similar to the bookworm cafe, is another cool chill out place to share books, food and gossips with the bestest of friends :)

Dearest TCM niece,
Yes, you are equally famous among my Trsinghua frens and fondly known as the TCM niece. You would have noticed by now that most of them recognise you and would take the trouble to escort you to meet me.
I totally agree. My BJ experience would not be the same without your wonderful company and all the little outings together to check out cool places (and during winters, it is more like chilly places :-))
Yes, will definitely miss it too. I think it is wonderful how God planned for us to be in BJ at the same time so that we both had a wonderful period of sharing together.
I look forward to meeting you soon again.
Merry Christmas in advance. Ciao.

Do you realise how appropriately this blog is named "Bridge" and "Bridge Cafe" and my google name is also "Bridge". I think this is too much to be a strange coincident.
