The Bookworm Club

And this is one day i would be proud to be called a bookworm! For a club such as this, Belle would flip right out of fairy tale land to be part of it. Wrapped in the sweet aroma of coffee beans and the still smell of old paperbacks, being in the centre of towers of books lined up against the walls, are just some of the reasons why The Bookworm at Sanlitun has now made it to my list of favourite chill out places in beijing.

Eat Drink Read

The bookworm carries quite an impressive range of english book titles, and they are available for borrowing if you are a member. For patrons like me, simply seeking a quiet solitude away from home, grab a drink, pick up a book and be lost in the world of swirling words and drama drama. Just remember to return it when you are done!


Totally fell for the book cafe idea. On some days, they even have trivias, scrabble games, book talks, very nerdy stuff! The nerd in me is just whooping inside for having been given a chance to express the geeky me! Its a celebration to all the nerds out there!

I wouldnt say much about their menu though, nothing to rave about.
