Introducing the modernized 蒙古包. Tiled floorings with a TV set thrown in. Not exactly what xq and i had in mind, but it would do fine for one night's stay. For 65RMB more, we get to enjoy the luxury of having an attached bathroom (not that fantastic) and 2 beds. The cheaper alternative was a yurt shared amongst 6 peeps, no beds and a common toilet.
Great news, our attached bathroom came with a toilet bowl! Phew. We had a little scare at night though, when xq thought we didnt have hot water for shower. I was about to opt for the primitive way of using a wet towel, when suddenly the hot water came back on! Double phews. If not for the cold weather, staying a night in the yurt could have been quite comfortable!
