Men and their craft

I figured its best i made a new post before my very enthusiastic readers flood my previous post with their tweet-rate comments!

I will be out of the city, so cheers to a good weekend for all :)

I want to scream!

The last thing i want to do after a day of shit work, is to come back and do more shit work. But if i dont read up on the necessary topics related to the cases i see in the ward, firstly i wouldnt be able to forgive myself for it, and secondly, my mentor wouldnt let me forgive myself.

This is exactly why i need another internet shutdown or in the likes of it. I have so much notes to read on, and yet i still find the time to be online posting photos. whats wrong with me! I need to focus! But my heart is not in it because of what my mentor talked to me about today. All i have to say is i need to start being serious in my life. I seem to be deluded that by declaring this somewhere, somehow i will change overnight. i need a miracle, divine intervention.

The girls are on their way to inner mongolia, and its a little quiet over here. Hopefully i would be able to get more things done in the next few days!

Below is the last of the series of Tianjin photos.

Down Little Italy

In the short 2 weeks, I have experienced the full extent of the wrath of mother nature. Days in Beijing have gone from wet, to unbearable heat waves and then on to unexplained bout of cold chills. And the only things that i am looking forward to in the next few weeks, is autumn and of course having a blast with frae and bong (they are already on the plane as i am typing this)!

Enjoy the shots from Little Italy taken in Tianjin, while i go off to pick the girls up from the airport! Tata!

House of Porcelain

The house of porcelain reminds me of one place in singapore. The museum opposite my cousin's place - the clutter of redundant possessions accumulated over the years by a certain eccentric neighbour.

Except, this is really a museum - cultural relics museum in fact.

There is of course a story behind all the porcelains embedded into the pillars and walls of this museum. I will tell you only if you are interested to know!

Playing Cinderelly

Pop the champagne coz i am back!!

How long has it been? I dont know, the past days, weeks and months just blended into one big grey fuzz. So much has happened since i last blogged, and i know i have been missing out on lots back at home. But i guess such stuff are inevitable, given i am so far away from home.

And no to those really curious ones, i am not seeing anyone. I thought i better set that straight before continuing.

You know i am really surprised with myself. Even without the WWW, i got on fine, falling back to the primitive ages, Pre-internet. And that involves curling up in bed with a good paperback, reading myself to sleep. Weirdly enough, i kind of like this new lifestyle of nights without blog hopping and senseless gossiping. Ok, i got that part wrong. i dont gossip. xoxo, you know you love me :)

So anyway, this recent detoxification exercise has made me only more excited in doing it again! Its crazy right? And really, its all thanks to THE hospital that has been tweaking about up in the head of mine. I hate work, i hate patients. They annoy me. More on that if i can ever find the strength to blog about, hopefully before they drive me up to the heavens above.

Found the following still in my camera. Love the european-styled streets and the horse-drawn carriages in Tianjin. Too bad fairy god mother wasnt there to turn me into sth pretty.

Go Believe

Nobody goes to Tianjing without trying 天津狗不理包子.
