Thank you?
A couple of weeks ago, i was out shopping with my sis at ikea. After the cursory walk through the showroom, we headed over to the cafeteria for our usual meatballs. It was pretty crowded for a weeknight, but still I managed to find us a table. We were short of one chair, so i stretched over to the table beside us and asked in my sweetest and most polite voice for the chair that was not used. I thanked the girl, young, probably in her teens, and she muttered "Thank You."
And now i wonder, what did i need thanking for?
