Guangdong Folk Arts Museum

The Chen's Ancestral Hall houses some very exquisite art pieces, characteristic of the Southern part of China. Lots of pottery sculptures, iron castings, paintings, embroideries, all created with superb workmanship.

But what really took my breath away was the intricately carved details included into the architectural decoration of the building. There were carved dragons, peaches, forests and they tell stories of old men and their great adventures across the land.

The ancestral hall is one of the last standing, best preserved cultural heritage of Southern China's history, and was well worth the trip, if i may add.
