Winter Dream

Its hard to remember what winter was like in Beijing, when here in Singapore, temperature hits so high i thought i might stroke out anytime. But once in a while, its nice to indulge in some winter memories to remind me of what the cold feels like.

During winter 2009, me and a few other girls braved the cold and crowd, and set out to complete the 2 must-do winter activity. Ice-skating on a frozen lake and snow boarding. Both of which as i remember now, were so much fun.

Skating on Hou Hai

Treading on thin ice
Gearing Up
Nan Shan is a much better place to ski/ snow board at as compared to the previous place i went to. But of course its nothing if the comparison was made to the great alps (if its even possible to ski there) or blue mountain.

Snow Boarding at Nan Shan
I finally understand why snowboarders like to sit for a long time at the top of the slope and daze for a bit more before boarding down. And thats just exactly what we did. We chilled.

For a view like that
Narnia Path
I need some cold chill here!

How I wish I were younger! Can do all the fun winter activities. Sigh! we didn't have the opportunity then. So sad!
