A walk in the park

Fiona-jie, i hope you are reading this, because this post is for you. Just so you have a rough idea of what you are up against at the Si Ma Tai. If siyi and my sis survived it, i am sure you will too! More pics here!

Below my block

Autumn at Si Ma Tai

Pumped up and ready!

As if the great wall wasnt challenging enough, we met a road block halfway up. Seizing the opportunity to take a break, we paused for a short breather as we watched the photo shoot from the background. I thought the bride looked stunning in her red gown. She definitely stood out from the warm colours of the autumn leaves.

Road Block
Behind the scene
And the old man with the 10kg load on his back certainly made it look easy.

Victory Dance
If you are wondering why si yi disappeared from most of my pics, thats because 10 mins into the climb, we got separated. The next time we saw her, was at the foot of the hill. She was sitting by the table enjoying the chill evening breeze, sadly without her cup of coffee.

A treat for the tired souls! Steamboat!
So there, izznt difficult right!

Isn't the chinaman bottle for keeping tea to drink throughout the day?

Fabian, i don't see you exercising a lot. Are you sure you want to climb the Great Wall? Very strenuous and the steps are step. Better start training or you'll get muscle aches.

Bridge - because I am the bridge between the old and the new. The bridge between the Gen Y and the baby boomers (Gen Y's parents). The bridge to mend all quarrels, fights, etc. Peacemaker I am...
