Imagine my joy in the morning when i woke up to rooftops, tree tops, streets and cars laced in layers of white trimmings. Its a scene right out of a pictorial postcard! Beijing's first snow, and its the heaviest i have seen! Its early snow (we were not expecting any at all), coz there are still signs of autumn with leaves still yellow and all other shades of warm hues.
Kids (and adults alike) were out throwing snowballs, and it was a ball of fun watching the flurry of excitement erupting all over! i can almost feel christmas here! yipppeeeee!
This is too beautiful to be Beijing. The accumulated grime and dirt were all washed clean in white, and suddenly, beijing became prettier.
Today, i had many flashbacks of chicago.
