Fields of Purple

In the world of flowers, lavender has always been one of my favourite eye candy.

In Miyun, come end summer, a drive through the county would render you some pretty sights. The haze of purple little pretties are the reason why some people from the city would eventually emerge out of their cubicles for some sunshine at the suburbs.

My trip out to Miyun was just a "by the way", as we girls were on our way to Si Ma Tai, another section of the great wall. This caught our eyes as we drove along the countryside. Sigh, such beauty.

BJ seems to have every flower imaginable: tulips, lavenders, cherry blossoms etc. No wonder, your dad loves to go to China!
