Old Beijing

This was a chanced discovery. The girls and i were at Hong Qiao Pearl Market when we walked into this eatery for dinner. Inside 老北京炸酱面大王, you are thrown into another era (i believe it to be beijing in the old days), where there is chaos EVERYWHERE. You have waiters screaming at you to sit at designated seats, squawking coming from two black birds hanging over the doorway, plates clattering as the waiters skillfully pour the different ingredients into the noodles over at your table, people trying to out compete each other in their noise level, oh man. Definitely not recommended for those seeking a quiet peaceful meal. You cant find it here. With that said, i still love this place. Not for the food, but for the action that goes on inside this little confined space. Love the wooden tables and benches, and how the whole place is put together to resemble that of the old beijing.

Notice that up to this point i have not mentioned anything about the food? Well, its forgettable.
